Our Stuff

EBC Ultimax2™

Our Budget-friendly EBC Ultimax2™ is a beautifully-engineered brake compound that lasts well, produces minimal dust and is the perfect choice for the urban or daily driver — A very affordable replacement EBC Pad without sacrificing quality.

EBC GreenStuff

EBC GreenStuff brake pads is a high friction Kevlar based pad compound designed to improve stopping power on sport sedans and prestige cars for on highway use. The GreenStuff range emits less dust than equivalent semi metallic pads and has been proven in tests to stop a vehicle 20 feet sooner than using stock pads. Pads are fully shimmed chamfered and slotted for silent braking and feature the EBC Brake-in surface coating to accelerate pad bed in after install. GreenStuff pads are for spirited street driving, for heavier faster cars see EBC RedStuff or for Track and Race use see EBC YellowStuff, BlueStuff or even OrangeStuff.

EBC RedStuff

Redstuff is best suited for heavier and faster cars and finds itself at its best on slightly heavier cars.
The harder compound RedStuff brake pads take longer to fully bed in to achieve their highest levels of performance (can be up to 1600km, urban use) during which time the odd “Chirp” of brake noise may be heard when starting from cold in damp and cold conditions at walking pace speed. However, it takes one press of the pedal to clear the rotor of any dampness, leaving EBC RedStuff a pad that inspires confidence in all cars. The motto is to be patient and give the pads a full chance to bed down.

EBC RedStuff should be used at both front and rear for optimum balanced brake performance.

EBC YellowStuff

EBC YellowStuff is an aramid fibre-based brake compound with a high brake effect from cold and is possibly one of the first ever compounds that can be used for both street and track driving.

Although they require some warm-up, they get even stronger with the heat of hard driving. YellowStuff isn’t a low-dust pad (if you’re looking for a low-dust premium street-use pad, consider RedStuff – not for track-use).

When considering full-race use, YellowStuff has been a strong favourite. Two years of use in the Swedish Camaro Cup and numerous other race events where a stock caliper system is fitted proved as much. It is also the choice of 90% of the Mazda MX5 Miata competitors in the UK race series and has an unblemished record as rotor-friendly trackpad for vehicles up to 3500 lbs or 1600 kilos weight.

YellowStuff is trusted and proved by SCCA and NASA drivers alike.

Because of its huge heat range, the applications where EBC YellowStuff will deliver benefits range from fastest street use on higher horsepower cars and race-use on most street-based cars and even as a brake upgrade on Trucks and SUVs.

Yellowstuff is especially appreciated on Trucks for towing heavy loads and where wheel and tire oversize upgrades have been fitted.

EBC BlueStuff

If racing is your thing, EBC’s Bluestuff NDX is your obvious choice.

BlueStuff is an intermediate-grade track day and race pad of choice for many club-level racers and serious track day enthusiasts. Due to BlueStuff being very controllable with excellent cold friction, however, this compound has quickly become the brake pad of choice for performance road car drivers in USA and Asia markets.

It’s a unique track-focused pad that is also perfectly legal for use on public roads. BlueStuff boasts a similar friction profile to YellowStuff, but with a usefully higher friction coefficient across the now larger working range, feeling much like you’d imagine YellowStuff to feel after a double hit of espresso. Bluestuff has a high friction coefficient without feeling grabby, taking things up a notch from EBC’s YellowStuff material by bringing superb pedal modulation to a trackpad with even greater fade resistance.
